Geocache Description:

Some of the finest views along the Jurassic Cliffs of this World Heritage Site are to be seen from Connaught Gardens. Look west through the gothic arch from the Lime Kiln Garden and be amazed!Jacob’s Ladder itself is the tall white set of steps that have been constructed to link the Gardens to the beach below.
This is not, however, the first structure in this location as you will see

There is parking on the hill by the gardens N50.40.544 W3.14.994 It is pay and display 40p per hour 70p for two.The co-ords N50.40.513 W3.14.777 is for the old steps up to the gardens from the beach. Follow the steps up to the top counting them as you go (not the two steps down two thirds of the way up).

At the top follow the path (around to the RIGHT) along the cliff to the end where you will see six benches one of which says in remembrance of our parents Henry and Germaine. The dates on there for Henry Williams are:

The Cache location is not too far away

The cache is in a small screw top Container with the usual goodies,small log book. So only small swaps please.
Could you replace it as found as it only goes in one way

After taking in the views and finding the cache please take time to walk through the gardens which is also a short cut to the parking area.
