Geocache Description:

Bike or walk along this moss-lined pedestrian trail connecting Bellevue to Issaquah.

The cache is located on a lightly-used, but immensely convenient pedestrian trail connecting West Lake Sammamish and Eastgate in Bellevue. The terrain rating is based on the walking distance from the Eastgate parklet (see additional waypoint) along a paved pedestrian trail. The find is not intended to be difficult. There are pictures and a precise description of where to look. Still, if you are having difficulty, (ideally) log a DNF (it builds character) and contact me for more specifics. Please let me know if there's anything amiss with the cache.

Handicache rating: H41211

Nearby caches:
  • Kiersolvd's "Looking Forward to the Sunrise" (GCMXM4) starts at a pocket park 1.1 miles to the west. There are five parking spots.
  • The starting point for TeamIDFC's "The Easiest Multi In Recent Memory" (GC1FXV1) is 0.3 miles away.
  • Cruiser guy's diabolical "Over the Top" (GCJM4Y) multi begins at the bridge over I-90. There is a little pullout on Newport way, on the south side of the bridge. From there, it would be approximately 0.7 miles.
Original description (the heart has long faded):
Near the cache there was some cement work done, and Tina and her friend put their names inside a heart, etched into the wet cement. Their names are fading now, but we still wonder.....what might have become of these (ill-fated?) lovers?
Thanks to Switchbacks.com for the trail maps and topos.
