This is a cache for all persuasions. A traditional cache in a bushland
setting with 'track' access and a nice walk if your cachemobile is frightened of
bumpy dirt roads. No intermediate waypoints to cause confusion and no
requirements for maths.
| I had a few names for this cache but have decided to name
it for the wind that was blowing at GZ. When I first found the area I
thought it wouldn't attract many visitors. I was wrong - when I parked a
local 4WD club was just leaving. They had been cleaning up the old car
bodies and other dumped rubbish that had been left near the beginning of the
track over the years and had driven out to enjoy the view. Back to the
cache - the worst parts of the track are near the beginning, if you don't
think your cachemobile will make it down and up, then Shanks' pony or an MTB
is for you, either way, follow the track and then the GPSr.
The cache is back from the edge but be careful as some of the rocks could
be slippery. Try not to leave tracks in the sandy areas, you will know them
when you see them.
