I remember vacationing with my
parents, many moons ago, and they used to stop all the time to read plaques and
histories of the areas we visited. We'd read everything there was to read.
As a child, I got bored. But I learned and I remembered...
Now, as an adult, I am dragging my
own children around to learn history in the towns they were born in.
As we have been caching, some of the most memorable caches have been the ones
that taught us something about our selves, our neighborhood, or our history. So
we have gotten a sharper eye for monuments, plaques, and histories of all kinds.
This one caught our eye, and we
stopped to learn about the history it had to teach us.
Take a minute, take a break, think
back to that by gone era, what would it have been like to live here, then.
This cache consists of one Historical Markers and one
final cache.
You will have to read the Marker closely to get all
the information you need.
