Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the AuSable River in an area know by the locals as Boy Scout Camp. Years ago there was a Boy Scout camp in the area. It is now called Lower Landing by the Huron National Forest of which it is a part of.

There is a loop off of River Rd that will take you back to the area. The roads back are easily passable by two wheel drive vehicles in the summer and fall. Park at the huge rocks. There is primitive camping available by permit from Lumberman's Monument Visitor Center. You are looking for a one gallon container. There is no fee for day use. Bring a fishing pole and enjoy the area.
