Cache is located at a quaint establishment in Gilbert, S.C. Out Augusta Highway 2 1/4 miles past Lexington High School going toward Batesburg.
**Several cachers have said this cache is handicapped friendly**
The hardest part about finding this cache will be avoiding muggles. The cache is in a high traffic area from 9 a.m. til 6 p.m. Especially from October thru December (when they have their Halloween and Christmas festivities.) To lessen the chance of being seen, go before 9 a.m. or during the off season. The owners live on the property and request that there is no night caching.
While you are looking for the cache (to avoid suspicion) just act like you are watching rabbits. I want to mention that there are over 30 rabbits on the property! They are EVERYWHERE!! The owners have several feeders out for them. Some of them are slightly tame. The bunnies are fun to watch while you walk around the property and take in the sites.
Bring the kids to this cache location. There is a playground for use ONLY during business hours. Please honor the owners rules.
This place boasts TRUE southern hospitality...the owners are so very sweet! They have even offered a 10% discount on any item purchased in the store (EXCEPT FOR COLLECTOR ITEMS! They can't discount these articles). Just mention that you are there checking out the geocache!!!
