The Pirates have returned and resting, maybe in some nearby tree so watch for the moss its a hanging. Easy walk from the parking lot.
The Cache is a pill bottle container, about .75" wide 2" long. A very nice park to stop and have lunch. The lawn is in better shape than most golf courses. If you visit on the 4th of July you can get a free fireworks show. Neat spot for kids to play hide and seek. Great spot to bring lunch or dinner. Very peacful with numerous covered tables. Boat Launch near by. This what we call Boggy Bayou. At this time the water is unhealthy to swim it so stay out. May be bring some crakers for the ducks. Or just mellow out with pelicans. Park closes at 10 pm. The Lincoln Tunnel is only 1/2 miles by water. Please bring a pen and rebag. TY. I Jammed this one back up a tree. If you can't find it up maybe someone dropped it and covered it with pine staw.
