107 Pull-Off (NC) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OzGuff: The huge stump under which this cache was hidden had fallen into the lake. I was pretty sure that the cache had floated off but saw it laying on the ground not far from the stump. It was open and the contents were spread about the area. I picked up all I could, but found no logbook. (And the geocoin listed as being in the cache was also not there.)

Since the cache was compromised and the hiding spot no longer available I decided to archive the cache. Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

While driving along NC 107 between Cashiers and Sylva stop for the awesome lake views, and to find this cache!

The cache is hidden just off of NC 107 very near to Lake Glenville. The views really are very good! The cache should be easy to find, unless the lake's level is way high.

The cache is a Tupperware-ish container about 8" tall and 6" around. Original contents were all very child-friendly and/or toy-related. You may need to get sand on your shoes to find it! Please re-hide the cache as well or better than you found it. Good luck!
