It is located in the path of the glaciers that filled the area. The lake’s area is
lush and green
with much life.
Sunsets and sunrises are bathed in orange and magenta.
The clear waters are filled with
golden trout
who hide amongst its
glacial rocks
under the
shady pines.
You may reach this lovely lake by four wheel driving from Bishop to Coyote Flat and taking a short hike. You may also hike a longer distance to this area from the South Lake area or the Glacier Lodge area.
Near the lake is hidden a cache. It is located in a
not too hard hiding spot.
The cache container is a plastic screw-on lid container. The top is 3½" wide. The height is 6" tall.
