Geocache Description:

In the 35,000 acre Port LaBelle subdivision east of the city of LaBelle, Fl. and in the largest housing subdivision in Hendry County.

The cache is located in the mostly vacant lands of the sprawling Port LaBelle area with more and more new homes popping up every week. This is an area of tall pines, oaks, canals and grassland. Be careful of vines that may want to grab and scratch you!

After finding the first small container, it will give you the coordinates for the final cache (you do not need to open the plastic bag as the Part #2 coordinates are readable through the bag nor do you sign any log here). The final cache is located about 20 feet west of the first container on land owned by the cache owner. Sign the log at the second container only. Please take care to seal the plastic bags and containers securely to avoid condensation getting inside in Florida's damp and humid climate.

While you're here, note the new middle school to the north, and a Hendry Sheriff's office substation nearby to the SE and many new homes recently built in this area including on this street. There are miles of little traveled roads, grass banked canals and plenty of greenbelt areas for bicyclists and hikers
