AstroD's Satellite Madness Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Astro_D: Well, it was a fun cache while it lasted. This is a big park with lots of potential - hopefully some other cachers will take the opportunity to place one here.

Thanks to all those who visited. I hope you all enjoyed the Iridium flares!

Geocache Description:

A several part physical/virtual that requires both physical and mental effort to complete. Located in Spring Green Park and a section of the Mountain Bay Trail that runs near it.

Welcome to AstroD's Satellite Madness Cache. This is a multi part cache that combines both physical and mental challenges. There are several physical legs of the cache and a final virtual component as well. The final physical is a standard ammo case with the usual trading goodies. PLEASE NOTE, the final virtual phase can be completed any time, anywhere. If you are traveling through the area, you can still do the physical portion.

At each physical stage, you will find a word. The word is the name of a particular satellite. You will need to write each satellite down. Upon completing the physical portion of this cache, you must email me all of the satellite names.

In addition, the final physical cache will also have a web site listed on the inside cover. Write it down as you need to visit the site for the final virtual stage. The web site will give you all the information you will need to complete AstroD's Satellite Madness.

All stages including the final virtual must be completed and verified by me before you can log this cache as a find. Remember, both the physical and virtual portions must be completed to count as a find.

The terrain is mostly flat but there will be a physically challenging area or two. The final 200' consists of an animal trail if you can find it. Please do not blaze a hard trail to the cache. The final virtual phase will require a bit of advanced planning to complete as well, but can be done from a location of your choosing.

One final note, if there is a game going on, you will not be able to get the first waypoint. Come back when the park is a little more peaceful. Good luck and have fun with our madness.
