This remote cache is located near Meadow Knob in Virginia at about 3,750 feet. It is placed about 30-40 feet off of a 4x4 trail over a steep hill.
Getting to this cache is not easy without a 4x4. Travel Northeast from Meadow Knob (N38 30.404 W79 09.307) on the Jeep trail for a little less than half a mile and park on the trail when you're close. The scamper is a little steep so be careful. If you do not have a 4x4, this cache would be about a 5 mile hike from Hone Quarry Recreation Area. This area is beautiful though and would be well worth the hike.My dog Lucia helped me find this hiding spot.
