This cache is located on Barto Island at Priest Lake, Idaho.
A boat is required to get access to the island. Once on the island the terrain is slightly hilly. Where you start your search will determine the difficulty of finding the cache. Best access is by the day use area on the west end of the island. On a hot summer day this area is very busy. Barto Island is a favorite camping and recreation spot at Priest Lake. There are several sandy beaches, fire pits and camping locations. If you are looking for a nice weekend getaway with no traffic, no electricity and few people, this just might be the place for you.
