Cache is a harded plastic mortar tube containing odds and ends. Please feel free to take a picture of yourself and log in. I am a newcomer to geocaching and welcome your feedback. When visiting the cache, discretion is best advised during daylight hours.
****Update - November 5, 2004****
The original cache went MIA recently, but has been replaced with a 50 caliber ammo box, in a slightly different location. Cache contains odds and ends. Due to the change of coords, cachers who found the original prior to November 5, 2004 may find this one again and log a second time. In order to claim a second find, you must search out the new container in the new location, and sign the logbook that is inside. Please do not log twice for one find as your log will be deleted. Don't forget to wear orange during hunting season.
****Update - November 15, 2004****
After hearing from Brdad and MsTeeLee, I checked the original cache site and recovered the original cache. There was a note in the logbook left for me from the Maine Department of Transportation stating that they had removed what they had thought to be an improvised explosive device. When they found otherwise, they were kind enough to return it to its original location. Hammer down!
Be on the lookout for a new cache by me using this original cache container!
