Seth!: 0230 Hours - Seattle, WA

IMF agents simultaneously swarmed two locations in the early hours this morning. Mister Big's cache of arms was recovered from one site. Meanwhile, other agents--acting on intel gathered by 41 dedicated field agents posing as geocachers--were at the Cachistan Aeroline headquarters at Boeing Field. The place was deserted and appeared to have been abandoned in haste. Two famous aircraft were nearby and these were likely the intended targets to be used for Mister Big's flight to Cachistan. Agents found a note from Mister Big among the debris. It will be attached to this memorandum.

Agents who succeeded in completing this mission will be invited to special debrief. At this time, it is scheduled to take place on January 23. More details will be sent out via e-mail. Congratulations to all who worked hard in this fight against evil.

Geocache Description:

This is a special mission involving a multi-cache and an option for teaming up with other geocachers. Do not use the above coordinates until you have viewed the mission assignments!

Dale Ulmand (a.k.a. MisterBig), leader of the Other Organization, is planning a flight to Cachistan in order to avoid capture. Cachistan is a little-known island nation populated by Really Evil Sorts. Our IMF agents, Dana Lampbright (Agent 69) and David Griggs (Agent 13) are on the case. However, Ulmand has carefully covered his tracks and the Impossible Mission Force needs your help. All we know for certain is that the Ulmand's departure date is January 1, 2005. He must be stopped before then! The only way he can be stopped is if you help our agents learn his plans and locate his cache of arms.

In order to find out the details of the mission, you will need to download the dossier, in the form of a PowerPoint show. (Right-click the link and save. It tends to not run well in the browser.) If you do not have PowerPoint installed on your computer, you may download a player here. For this mission, you may compile of Force of one to four members. The more members you have, the quicker you will get to the final location. But you may enjoy doing all of the action yourself. Good luck.

Additional Notes:
This multi-cache is an homage to the original TV show, NOT the Tom Cruise movies. Also, cannot be done in one day. If you do not live in the area or are not on an extended stay, that will make it extra difficult for you. All of the locations are within a few miles of the posted coordinates. For each part of the multi-cache, I am including coordinates that are as accurate as I could get them. But you'll also have to use your noggin. (That's how you got accepted into the Impossible Mission Force, remember?) For each character, there are separate encrypted hints which are located on special web pages.
