kazuma: Dopo 3 anni nessuno ha visitato questo cache... per questo abbiamo deciso di archiviarlo. Ho già richiesto ad un amico di provvedere alla rimozione della scatola.

After 3 years no one has visited this cache... for this reason we decided to archive it. We have asked to a friend of us to remove the container.

Geocache Description:

La nostra collezione di geocoin (attivati e non) e il luogo dove vengono depositati tutti i Trackables "Missing in Action"
Our geocoin collection (activated and not) and the location where we store all "Missing in Action" Trackables

Originally this was one of our first cache we have hidden. The location was the terrific ventotene Isle, part of the grou of island called "Arcipelago Pontino". A boat was required to reach the cache. This was, probably, the reason why in 3 years no one ever visited the cache. So we decide to archive it and to use it as a deposit for our geocoins (activated and not) and as a "cemetery" for all "Missing In Action" trackables.

Testo originale - Original text

The cache has been hidden inside the wonderful island of Ventotene, located in the Mediterranean Sea. When you get there for the hunting, we strongly suggest you to spend there the entire day... take our words for that!

The cache is a small transparent tupperware. Beyond the logbook and a pen, it contains a bunch of small objects. Considering the size of the container, we couldn't fit anything much stuff, so we suggest you to consider not to leave anything 'big'.

Getting to the cache is not that difficoult if you can swim a little bit. The water around the entire island is great, clean, and if you like diving this is one of the best places in the area, that is why we have decided for hiding our cache near the sea. Even if the cache is on the isle, getting there from the 'inside' is very hard and it requires you to be a great and professional climber and have the appropriate needs for getting down and getting back up after finding the cache.
The overall difficulty rating is fairly high because it requires a boat, both for getting to the island (there are daily services from Formia and I think from San Felice or Terracina) and for going around and get to the cache.
Once you get close to the final spot, just be careful, but the terrain isn't that hard. We have tried to protect the cache as much as we could, not just to avoid looting it, but because it is still close to the sea.

Again, our suggestion is to spend the entire day in the area... it's really amazing.

Hint

Once you leave the pier, having it on your back, choose the righ side of the island, until you get close to the cache coordinates. (we stopped our boat at N40 47.383, E13 25.682). Then swim to the island (we got there through N40 47.374, E13 25.657). Once you are on the dryland, just follow your GPS. The area is clear and you should have a great signal, so you shoud find the cache easily.
