Hidden at the summit of Mt Sawyer, along the Tonga Ridge. Relatively easy hike. Trailhead at 4400 feet, Summit at 5500 feet.
A sandwich sized tupperware container. (Was not planning on placing a cache). Had just hit my 100th cache down below, [at (GCK84G) be sure to Hit it on the way.] and headed up to the top of Mount Sawyer. The panoramic view on top is worth the trip up. Look to the North at Three Fingers, Glacier Peak, tip of Mount Baker, south to many peaks in the Alpine Lakes Region, the top of Mount Rainier, east and west to many other mountains.
In season, berries abound along the way. Nice rocks and areas to have lunch and hang out at the top. Easy grab once found, No need to bushwack.
