A co-ordination of cachers for the East Midlands - and further afield - please feel welcome on 26th September 2004
We have been wanting to meet up for a while with all the other people who's names we have seen in the log books as we have cached in the East Midlands. We would like to use this event to get to know some of the people behind the nick-names.We have trawled the East Midlands for a good location and we feel that this is one of the best ones available. It seemed to have everything that we were looking for. A large pub that welcomes children, a nice friendly atmosphere, a host of special beers (for the likes of Seasider) a good selection of reasonably priced food including vegetarian meals, and an area where it is central for all cachers local or not so local. Please feel free to drop in at lunchtime from 12 Noon. There are a few local caches and there will be another specially planted for this event.
