The Liverpool Beat caches are a series located in public parks in the Liverpool area to honour the Liverpool music scene. Calderstones Park is worth looking around if you have time
This cache is a 0.7l box. It contains the usual items but also has part of a code to enable you to work out the co-ordinates for the final cache of this series. Depending on which order you find the caches, you may or may not need to complete them all to find the final cache. The codes are in Liverpool Beat 1 - 5 caches and consist of letters and numbers printed on the front of the logbook and also on a laminated card in the cache which together will give the co-ordinates for the final cache, "The Liverpool Beat 6, The Merseybeats"The Swinging Bluegenes as they were originally known had several hits under their slightly new name, The Swinging Blue Jeans. 'Hippy Hippy Shake' and their 1966 major hit, 'Don't Make Me Over' are probably their best remembered tracks.
