The Liverpool Beat 4 Gerry and The Pacemakers Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TeamElle: Unfortunately as I am no longer able to maintain this series I have archived it.
It has been quite a popular series and the locations are still worth visiting even without the caches.
Thanks to all those who have visited.
Colin

Geocache Description:

The Liverpool Beat caches are a series located in public parks in the Liverpool area to honour the Liverpool music scene. Sefton Park is well worth a walk around if you have time, particularly the Palm House, see www.palmhouse.org.uk for details. If you take a trip on the ferry from the Pier Head, you will hear the famous song "Ferry across the Mersey" see www.merseyferries.co.uk for details

This cache is a micro in a cammo bag. It contains part of a code to enable you to work out the co-ordinates for the final cache of this series. Depending on which order you find the caches, you may or may not need to complete them all to find the final cache. The codes are in Liverpool Beat 1 - 5 caches and consist of letters and numbers printed on the front of the logbook which together will give the co-ordinates for the final cache, "The Liverpool Beat 6, The Merseybeats"

Gerry Marsden was born in the Dingle in 1942, his band, the Pacemakers achieved something that even the Beatles could not. Their first three records all made number one. Gerry is notably famous for his version of Rogers and Hammerstein's 'You'll Never Walk Alone', the anthem of Liverpool Football Club.
