This cache is in Ryder Woods Conservation Area off of Cotuit road in Sandwich. A nice hike with the kids. Stop and skip a stone or two.
The best place to park is at N41 40.374 W070 28.385. Follow the trails, no bushwacking required. The cache is hidden within 6 feet of the trail. The cache is a painted coolwip container.
8/22/07 I changed the difficulty to 1 since it is easier than I thought and changed the clue to make it shorter.
About Ryder Conservation Area: It features extensive frontage on Wakeby Pond. Fishing access is open to the public year round. Abandoned cranberry bogs provide a living laboratory for the process of succession. Look for wildlife management areas, a small secluded pond and many walking trails.
