Fence Post 127 Traditional Cache

Enjoy the multitude of excellent trails of the Anthony Chabot park.   Wide smooth trails, grand vistas, easy grades allow you to concentrate on your hike and not the work you have to do.  Get off the main road and take bicycle trails that follow the hills in the trees away from the crowd.  Take the plunge, avoid the crowd, and the cow patties, and trek the wide open (and sometimes overgrown) grazing fields of the meadow, side stepping cow patties on the way.  
 

The cache is located along a long ranch fence in Bort Meadow 

There is no need for climbing fences to reach either stage of this cache.
 

Cache is is a 2 qt. jar with many really nice techy items and several items for the kiddies.   For those of you who know my caches you should be familiar with the nice things that you will find there.  

The cache is close to what little trail there is.  Cache may require some bushwhacking.

Park at the Bort Meadow Staging area.  There are several trails converging in this area.  You should have a trail map for the Chabot park system.

There is no need for climbing fences to reach either stage of this cache.
