Geocache Description:

Geocachers of West Tennessee

Located in the scenic Loosahatchie River bottoms off Brunswick Road. Changed the hide technique on the first stage on 30 MAY 2006. It is no longer a film canister, it is a...well, you'll see it.

I tried to make this one of my more difficult caches. Once you get to it, it's not that hard, but getting there should be more than half the battle! First, the cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. There you will find information you will need to get to the final leg of this two step multi. You might want to be cautious during hunting season, or any other time you hear gunfire, as I saw a lot of empty shotgun shells near the bridge. Folks like to target shoot under the bridge, but you should see them easily if they are there, and can come back later. Remember the "Leaden Rule: Forget gold, he who has the LEAD makes the rules!" There are power lines nearby, which SHOULD IN THEORY make hunting illegal. I'm not that concerned, or I wouldn't have placed the cache here, but I want you to know about it! High water could make this cache inaccessable, or at least add a star to the terrain, and you should always watch for snakes, especially when reaching for the ammo can. I placed the cache with gaiters on, though I didn't see any snakes while placing the cache. I tried a different sort of camo on the first stage. If you've seen it before, it won't be that hard to spot. Thanks to BitBrain and Pippin for the assist in making stage 2 as intended!
