The coordinates above are only for a convenient nearby road
intersection. The actual coordinates are revealed by solving the
puzzle below. One could solve this simply by Google-ing “nautical
code pennants,” but if you want to increase the challenge, try to
bust the cipher with only frequency analysis, and the fact that the
plain-text message is stereotypical in geocaching context.
The container here is a decon. As with all decons, please ensure
the lid is on tight before re-hiding. I've included a pencil stub,
but it would be wise to bring your own pen, please. Cache is above
ground and may or may not be winter accessible.
