The cache is located about 20 feet off an unpaved trail in the wooded section of Veterans Park in Arlington. The usual thorns and poison ivy will be encountered when leaving the trail for the last 20 feet.
There are numerous trails that meander through the park's wooded area and the trick to finding this cache will be in locating the correct trail. The additional hint describes a place to park that will only be 1000 feet from the cache. The true adventurer will park in the park's southern parking lot on Spanish Trail and hike in the 2000 feet or so, assuming you take the correct trail to the cache. The cache name comes from the contents of the cache. The original contents of the cache were acquired while I was on the World's Longest Yard Sale. 450 miles of yard sale after yard sale. It took one full week to complete this mission at an average of 33 miles per hour. This event takes place yearly during August and information may be obtained on the web site at www.127sale.com. The cache was muggled in February 2005 and no longer contains items acquired during the yard sale event. The size of the cache has been changed from a regular to a small. Before opening and inspecting the cache, please take the cache container a good distance from the cache site as the site is visable from the trail which is often used by walkers and joggers.
