Steam shovel trail, located in Dixie Valley. Difficult, steep terrain.
This cache is an ammo box, located at the top of the Steam Shovel Trail in Dixie Valley. The Steam Shovel cache is an off-road trail, therefore jeeps, buggies, quads or dirt bikes are recommended.There is the "short, but challenging" way to get there, or the longer, less challenging way. If you go in the spring, you may even have water in the creek to add to your challenge.Once you find it, it's "just like Christmas," complete with a gift for the first one who finds it.It's an off-roaders idea of a darn-good time!Happy caching, and Merry Christmas!
