The coordinates above will lead you to one of the most haunted
sites in Connecticut. Stories of paranormal activity abound in this
area. In recent years, the most common sightings are of an infamous
ghost known as the White Lady.
The true identity of the White Lady is not known, but she has been
captured on film by several ghost hunters (see photograph).
Paranormal investigators believe that spirits can be exposed on
film in the form of round objects known as orbs or as streaks that
look like smoke in the picture (see photographs). The aim of this
two-part cache is to locate and identify two objects within the
site that will give you the coordinates for a final cache. Before
leaving this site, try some ghost hunting yourself. Take pictures
and see if you can catch a ghost on film. If you find anything
interesting upload the picture when you log your find. Please keep
in mind that this place is historical. BY LAW, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED
TO ENTER THE SITE AT NIGHT. Good luck and may the spirits keep you
company during this adventure! The final cache is located at 41
15.XXXN, 73 17.XXXW. Go to the following locations to get the
missing digits above: 41 16.349N, 73 17.812W - Find the twins. Take
the last digit of the year LeGrand died, then take the last two
digits of the year the twins were born to get XXXN, and 41 16.392N,
73 17.818W - Look for the name with the initials M.B.B. Take the
last three digits of the year this person was born to get the XXXW
For the final cache, I recommend parking at the town hall on Center
Road. Entrance to the site is on the opposite side of the road.
You'll most probably be fighting GPS bounce at this site. Be
patient; it's just the spirits playing tricks on you! There is a
