The most common way to climb the mountain (hardly a mountain) is to use a trail up the river side with the trailhead being in the bay downstream of Indian Point. The trip is suitable for children if they are up for a walk of this distance and climb. My 4 and 6 year old did it round trip, but careful attention must be given at the top. There are some steep drops. It can take anywhere from approximately 30 minute to around 60 minutes to complete the hike.The trailhead is at N46 06.575 W77 27.080 and it meets up with an old skidder road which you follow until approx. N46 06.765 W77 26.450 where you need to veer left back onto a foot path. Flagging tape has been place at most areas where the direction is questionable. The coordinates for the top are N46 07.011 W77 26.030
For a real adventure there is also a trail that I have taken in the distant past that leads up the back side that starts on the east side of Schyan Point (the next Point downstream of Indian Point).

We also included a disposable camera for visitors to capture the moment with. I'll develop them and post when the camera fills.
