Easy multi cache which involves very little walking. It will be necessary to drive between the 2 stages of the cache (unless you fancy a round trip walk of about 3.5 miles). Should take less than 20 mins although caches are quite well hidden.
The C of E Church of St Mary the Virgin, Whaddon is some 800 years old and part of the Hilperton/Whaddon Parish.
In the 15th century the Long family took over the day to day running of St Marys and following years of loyal service they were laid to rest in a crypt underneath the Church itself.
Nowadays due to the small community of Whaddon, the Church is only open for services 5 or 6 times a year.
The posted co-ordinates take you to the first stage of the cache which is a hidden film canister. When found, this will provide the co-ordinates for the second stage which is a tupperware container.As stated above, unless you fancy a long walk you may want to drive between the 2 stages.Happy hunting.
