Geocache Description:

Cache is located about 8 miles east of Safford off Haekel Road. Any car can get within 1/2 mile. Most can get within a few 100 yards.

This is placed at a flood control project that protects the Solomonville area from washing away during heavy floods. To get there take HWY 191 east of San Jose. Take Haekel Road South from HWY 191. After 1 mile, Haekel turns left but the cache lies on the dirt road straight ahead. Take the dirt road then rely on the GPS to get the rest of the way. The area is popular with off-roaders. Cache is large cookie tin painted "Blackout" black.
