While at the Pathfinder "Faith on Fire" Camporee in Oshkosh WI this Aug, Sr. Dino and Jr. Dinos took part in an activity called pin trading. We even attended a class to learn the proper methods of trading pins.
Taught by "Dr. Pin" himself, this was a fun class. We learned that proper lapel pin trading can be summarized in with three simple words; "Fair, Friends, Fun"
Once we had completed the course, Jr. Dinos really enjoyed meeting new friends all week long and trading pins with them. This cache is placed as a way for Jr. Dinos to continue pin trading here at home.
Please bring a lapel pin of your choice to trade, and let us know in the log if possible about the pin you leave.
Note: This trail does not loop the entire lake. It goes a long ways around and may give hikers the idea it is going to, but it does have two ends, so you will have to return the way you came.
Dogs allowed on leash, and a good place to ride your mtn. bike.
Cache container is tupperware, but not too big since it only has to house lapel pins. Painted dark for camo purposes.
