Updated! (May 2015) New cache container replaces the previous (11-year old!) plastic tube with a genuine Geocaching Pelican box.
This is a two-stage multi-cache. The first waypoint contains information which, using the information below, is used to find the final cache. The final cache is a Gepcaching.com Pelican box.
To locate this cache, follow these instructions:
- At the posted coordinates you will find a plaque.
- This plaque contains a date.
- Write the date as numbers in the form M/D/YY.
- Multiply the month and the day to obtain a 2-digit number.
- Add this number to the 2-digit year.
- This will give you a 3 digit number, "ABC".
- Now, transpose the second and third digits of this number -- that is, arrange the digits as "ACB".
- Substitute this number for the last part of the North coordinate: 47° 22.nnn'
- Now, multiply the month and the year, and divide the result of this by 3. Then add 25.
- Substitute this as the last portion of the West coordinate: 122° 27.www'
These coordinates lead to the final cache.
