"Shanks-ville" Cache Traditional Cache
OReviewer: Hi,
I'm archiving this cache as there appears to be trespass issues. If you have permission for this to be here, great, please send me a copy or info about it and I will be happy to unarchive it.
If you don't and don't plan on getting any, please remove any parts of your cache so it doesn't become geoliter.
Thanks,
-O

Where the deer and the golf balls play (imagine the tune of "Home on the Range")
*** BE WARY OF INCOMING ***
The cache has its name for a good and obvious reason!!! This cache is located in the woods along the back of the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course, in a location where I have sent many an errant golf ball.
Access should be gained from the dead end of Country Club Drive (cross street of Briarwood Avenue). The Department of Public Works is in the process of rehabilitating a small playground/park at the end of the street. Park on the neighborhood street and walk toward the playground equipment. Use the new sidewalk to reach the basketball court (backboards are not up yet). Walk away from the golf course into the woods. You will have to use game trails in order to reach the cache. Round trip should be about 4/10 of a mile or so. After logging your find, please be careful to replace the container and its camo so as to challenge the next treasure hunter.
The original contents include: a log book, pens, a pencil, a play-dough set, an orca squirt gun, crayons, a plastic fork, bubbles, 2 magnetic clips, pencil erasers, a hook, a dog tennis ball, a harmonica, a frog game, a puzzle/quiz card set, tea light candles, and my calling card little blue police figure. Also included is a ribbon as an additional prize for the FTF.
