Located with the public thermal park within Rotorua
Having enjoyed occassional geocaching during our travels through NZ we thought it would be nice to leave a cache as a link. We loved the thermal and geothermal activity around Rotorua. This cache is placed within an interesting public park near to the city centre. We did think of naming this cache DANGER THERMAL ACTIVITY due to the numerous signs in the area - having so much thermal and geothermal activity in a public place is interesting. We wondered how our UK Health and Safty organisations would address this conept!
The cache name also has resonance with our home county in the UK - Lancashire Hot Pot - the county lamb dish.
The fun may be trying to retrive this cache - it is, understandably a popular location.
