You need to have a state park sticker for entry to the park. Trail is sandy. I saw 2 deer when placing the original cache, so be alert for wildlife. Note, this was changed from a micro-cache to a regular cache 5-22-09. The location was also changed to make it less of a walk.
This was originally a theme cache that was dedicated to our twin granddaughters who, at the time were nearly 6 ½ years old. They are now 11 (2009) Thus, the theme was “twins”, “pairs”, “two’s” or “doubles.” What more logical location to place the cache than at Two Rivers State Recreation Area. If you are a twin or have twins in your family, let us know that when you log your find. Feel free to give good advice to Brielle & Caleigh, or tell a short story about your experience as twins or with twins. As you might expect, our twins are about as nice as they come, thanks to our daughter and son-in-law. They and their 4 kids live in the Garden State, about 15 minutes from the airport of the city of brotherly love. Initial contents of the cache were two each of:• Mr. Bubbles• $10 bill notebooks• Giant paper clips• 2 sets of scrunchies or pony tail holders• 3 pairs of special pencils• Whistles• Grabbers• $100 bill pencil sharpeners• Rubber fingers & rubber finger puppets• Trick Juicy Mint Gum• Rubber flying fish• Small plastic rulers. The trailhead is at N41.12.749 & W096.20.939, and a parking area is very close by. Take the trail south a short distance, then west on the first smaller trail. Go a short distance and begin looking for the cache. After you find it, please re-cover it with bark and wood so it won't be accidentally found by a non-cacher.
