Geocache Description:

This three-part Multi-Cache is located on State Game Land (SGL) 205, in Northwestern Lehigh County, off PA Route 100. The gamelands is roughly 1,100 acres, has much to offer for fishing and hunting enthusiasts, and is Clancy’s favorite SGL, since it includes a nice portion of the Jordan Creek. (Stocked with trout in spring.) She gives this game lands four paws up! This cache does take several hours to complete; do plan accordingly.

Note: All three caches are located within 20-30 feet of grass trails. Do not bushwhack, because if you get significantly off the coordinates, there is a rifle range at N 40º 39.450 W 075º 40.010 and a shotgun clays field at N 40º 39.559 W 075º 40.022. If you follow directions, you will be well away from both. Clancy does not recommend attempting this cache when there is snow on the ground. INSTRUCTIONS: Start this cache at parking coordinates: N 40º 39.478 W 75º 40.257. From the parking lot, follow the trail up the hill, to the first micro cache, which is in a roughly 4” brown plastic tube. Clancy calls this path crab apple trail, since it sports a variety of different types of crabapple trees that the Game Commission planted for the wildlife. Follow the instructions in the cache. Enjoy! Notes: 1) The Pa Game Commission (PGC) has online topographic maps available, google PA Game Commission SGL maps 205. 2) This State Game lands welcomes dogs, (they WILL get wet), and although many of the trails are open to both horseback riding and biking, several of the trails leading to the three caches are not. 3) Familiarize yourself with the PGC SGL laws, regulations and hunting seasons. Readable, condensed versions of the rules and regs are posted at each parking area in every gamelands. Read and obey them. Per PGC regulations, during non-Sunday visits during hunting seasons, all users of the gamelands must wear orange. Clancy especially likes to visit this SGL on a Sunday, when hunting is not permitted MOST of the year. The entire team still wears orange, though. 4) Caveat Emptor; be careful as you look for the caches, and especially be careful around the final cache as the terrain is difficult, especially when wet. There are ticks and poison ivy in the area. PLEASE REHIDE THIS CACHE IN THE MANNER FOUND--AS WELL OR BETTER THAN YOU FOUND IT. SEVERAL LOCAL CACHES HAVE BEEN FOUND AND VANDALIZED OR STOLEN.
