From the cache you can see the remains of the dam for the mill.
This bridge replaced one of those old narrow mostly wooden bridge's that was a little scary to ride a school bus over. When I was older but not much wiser I nearly drowned running a trapline at the dam during a flash flood...the site has been vandalized & trashed so much that everything around is posted now. No need to leave the roadway. Parking can be diffucult.
