stevespencer824: Glad WRC got it before I pulled it. The encroachment of the new subdivision has made cover hard to come by. The area also has a severe geotrail, and need to recover for a while. Thanks to those who hunted and had nice things to say.

Geocache Description:

Nice park in the Bartlett Reserve Area! Several picnic tables, some with barbeque grills, a basketball court, baseball field, playground, and a covered pavilion. Built by the County Conservation Board, soon to be taken over by the City of Bartlett.

My 9 year old daughter and newbie cacher, "Chicklet" helped me place this one for her first hide!

It is a standard, 7.62mm ammo can with a few trade items and a very unique FTF prize. Should not be terribly difficult, experienced cachers always know to look for the telltale parallel sticks right?

Fair warning, folks, the terrain here can be significantly more difficult depending upon the direction from which you approach the cache! There is significant elevation change, and rainy conditions could make things quite slippery, adding as much as a full star to the terrain rating! The hillside has washes, in some places near the roots of trees so that solid looking ground may actually be accumulated leaves and pine needles, and give way underneath you. There's even some buried chainlink fencing, which I found when it sprang back when I stepped on it! I don't think there's anything especially dangerous, just watch your step! I forgot to change shoes before I hid the cache, and did so in my good sneakers, which I don't recommend! ADDED A HINT ON 7 JAN 2005. I want it to be tough, but I'm not a DNF hound!
