The cache is located at the Pinehurst staging area. I have often driven past here and wished for a reason to stop. Now there is one. The point uphill from here offers a great view of the Upper San Leandro Reservoir.
Caution should be taken though if you decide to take a look, as the other side is a straight drop.
You might wish to have something to poke around in the area with.
