Geocache Description:

An easy cache, bring pen, watch for traffic and muggles

The site of my cache is in the area of The "Welcome to Arleta" sign at Woodman Ave and Ventura Canyon Ave.
It was formerly part of Pacoima until 1975 when a group of residents fought to create it’s own entity called Arleta
Celebrities who once chose to call this area home are the ever popular Osmond Brothers, Richie Valens, now in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Singer/ songwriter, Johnny Burnette, and of Bonanza fame, Dan Blocker.
Land went begging at thirteen cents an acre in 1910. At $53.20 in the twenties and when the source of this information was printed February 1966, it sold for $4,750 an acre. Today, to learn how much, call your real estate agent.
