This is our first cache and it is in our favorite area in this large Round Rock city park/sportsplex. We hope you like it.
Chandler Branch is a small branch creek off of Brushy Creek. The creek doesn't look like much when the weather is dry, but when the rains come, it is a compeletely different story! Unfortunately, this area, like so many others, could use a little CITO help from time to time.
The difficulty rating was adjusted upwards because the cache itself (and the immediate vicinity) is not wheelchair accessible, there can be a good bit of muggle activity in the area and seekers will be exposed, GPS reception can be sketchy at times, and you sometimes have to watch out for the skeeters and wasps. They really like this place also!
The area of the cache is easy to get to with nearby parking within a very reasonable walking distance with all but the end of the walkway being a paved foot/bike path.
The cache itself is more of a mini in size and was loaded with cachers in mind. It has been initially stocked with things cachers may need while out on adventures, so please trade accordingly and I hope there is something there you can use. Remember, this cache is a bit on the "mini" side so think kind of small when trading!
