Rumors started flying that Rudolph had gotten laid off due to technological advances concerning GPS. Santa realized he could simply plot waypoints for the good children's homes and be able to skip the not-so-good children's houses. So, Rudolph got laid off, Dasher mounted an external antenna on his antlers and Dancer put a spotlight in his to light the way. Last update we had was that the only job Rudolph could find was as a mascot for a small town southwest of Bowling Green, perhaps you can visit him while you are in the area.

- Chili and Cornbread Cook-Off We need some folks to bring chili or cornbread. We have some people interested in chili so far, but since we want more than just chili we will limit the contestants to the first 4-5 that are interested, So now we need cornbread :) PRIZE(S) WILL BE AWARDED (probably not big prizes, but something)
- Geocaching Carol Contest Create a variation on your favorite carol using geocaching lingo. PRIZE(S) WILL BE AWARDED
- Karaoke Show us your skills on the microphone (or lack of skills) and belt out a tune.
- $5 Christmas Gift Exchange
- Go Get Them Caches ! We will have at least a couple new permanent caches in the park or immediate area and there will be at least a couple temporary caches that you can claim as a find by logging this event multiple times. The Good Dogs have a very neat idea for a couple of these temporary caches.
- Signature Item Displays There are some smaller tables in the nature center where you can set up some or all of the sig items that you have collected during your caching adventures.
- Sig Item Swapping When you grab a name tag, there will be an optional bright colored label that you can add to your nametag letting others know that you are interested in swapping sig items.

There is also a grill right outside the building so you could bring charcoal and cook something outside (hey, someone crazy enough might try it)
