Black Water Swamp Traditional Cache
Old River Runner: This one had a good run, but it kept getting muggled. After losing a few ammo cans and not really having a good spot in the area for another, I've decided to archive this one to make room for a new cache. -- ORR

This is another cache hidden in the wonderful Bona Dea Trails System. Parking for the trails is located at both the eastern (N35 18.351 W93 08.742) and the western (N35 18.190 W93 10.107) ends of the park. The trails are open to walkers, runners, and bicyclists.
The cache is located just off the Serendipity Trail, perhaps the least traveled trail in the park. This peaceful trail circumnavigates Black Water Swamp and is a great trail for viewing the park’s wildlife and enjoying the solitude.
CAUTION: For the sake of safety, please approach the cache from the trail, regardless of what your GPS receiver may be telling you is the shortest route!
The cache is a camouflaged 30 mm ammo can with a log and several trading items. It also contains a pen, but it is always wise to bring your own writing instrument. The cache should be easy to find. Please return it to its hiding spot so that others may have the same challenge in locating the cache. Enjoy your search!
9/7/08 Update: The cache has been relocated to a new spot, because a trail had developed near the old spot, which I believe led to the original cache being taken by a muggle. Also, Mother Nature had, over time, destroyed the original hiding spot. The coordinates at the new location may be poor due to the overhead leaf cover and the nearby bluffs. If you find the coordinates to be off by more than 30 feet, please record a new set and post them with your log. The cache is about 50 - 60 feet off the trail.
