Lakefront Park, Cooperstown, NY
This is a great little park on Otsego Lake in Cooperstown.While in town visiting all the baseball attractions, take time to see this gem of a park. There is a statue of the "Indian Hunter" down near the water, a bandstand, and a long staircase leading back up into the town. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. Or, take a scenic boat ride or fishing charter out from the nearby docks. Cache is a waterproof match holder and is well hidden. Please be discreet when reomoving and replacing the container. Also, please bring your own pencil, thanks and have fun!
May not be as accessible in winter.
