There are other approaches to Mt. Jerusalem. The one I took has a lightly marked trail for about the first 3 miles, then an uphill climb through the forest to the ridge above Sentimental Creek. Follow the ridge to the cache at 8365'. It is a hike of 5 miles with an elevation change of 3170'. Allow plenty of time for the hike, especially if you plan to attempt Mt. Jerusalem peak. The cache is in a large white vitamin bottle.Take West Fork Road to Nez Perce Road to Soda Springs Road. Follow Soda Springs to the parking area at N45 47.110 W114 22.305 and climb the hillside to the beginning of the trail.
