Geocache Description:

"Hidden In Plain Sight" cache. Only things that are CREEPY or GROSS. Stage 1 - Virtual. Stage 2 - Micro. Final Stage - Medium / Large container.

Creepy Cache

This is another in our "Hidden In Plain Sight" caches. It is also a themed cache, something we enjoy starting. This one has a "creepy" theme, as the name says. Almost anything that's creepy or gross will do. (NO Political Materials Please, That's just TOO CREEPY)!

The starting contents will give you an idea of the type of things that are appropriate.
  • 2 Anne Rice novels - paperback, Vampires & Witches.
  • "Ghost Story" by Peter Straub - paperback .
  • "Frankenstein by Mary Shelly - hardcover.
  • Edgar Allen Poe poems - hardcover.
  • 2 Creepy Sounds CDs for Halloween.
  • DVD - "Little Shop Of Horrors" original B&W with very young Jack Nicholson.
  • A big assortment of toy dinosaurs, ants, spiders, skulls, snakes, lizards, etc.
This is a multi-stage cache:

Stage 1 is a virtual stage:

When you go to the place of quiet death, it will lead you to the place of wild life. Just find the date that this area was established, and it will lead where you wish to go.(Est. XXXX)

Ignoring the decimal place, add the date(XXXX) to the minutes portion of: N 42. 32.711 and W 88 11.521 and you will get the Stage 2 coordinates.





Stage 2 is a large preform(heavy duty bottle):

When you get to Stage 2, it will tell you where the final stage is. Please leave the coordinates in the Micro-cache, just enter them into your GPS.

Stage 3 is a regular/large:

The final is hidden....well, I won't ruin your hunt/find.
As with many of our caches, it is always a good idea to check the terrain BEFORE you take off bushwhacking! This is a hunt area so be careful of the hunters, talk so they know you're there, but don't be too noisy.
