Geocache Description:

After a scenic drive, the cache can be found after a 0.7 mile hike on a fairly well maintained trail.

This cache is a 50mm ammo box. There are a number of routes to the parking area which will be about 0.7 miles south of the cache (Translate that to mean you will have to hike 0.7 miles). The terrain difficulty rating is due to the length of this walk, but it is a well maintained trail with few if any obstacles.Depending upon which road you take in, you may encounter a confusing "No Trespassing" sign. I have posted a picture of it, but it might be a bit of a spoiler. Anyway, the sign is confusing because it is referring only to the property on each side of the road. The road itself is a public road and the cache itself is well inside county forest land. In fact the trail to the cache clearly welcomes hikers. The original contents of the cache were a fishing lure, a pair of bar magnets, a new Chevrolet Pickup (small), a YoYo, a ruler and a $5.00 Canadian Bill for the first to find.Have fun. There is also the customary note book and a camara so you can take a picture of yourself, your friends, the cache, etc. Just jot down the frame number in the log book. Enjoy the hunt and then take time to explore the areas around the cache.Take time to look at the sights along the trail. The day we placed the cache there were eagle nests, beaver slides, and porcupine activity. In warmer months, be sure to arm youself with bug spray.
