Geocache Description:

I've been asked several time why there is no beer or beer related items in my 'Beer Run' series of caches. First off, I'd get in big trouble if I put any beer in my caches. Besides, I've never really been a fan of theme caches. I usually download my waypoints in batches and by the time I get to the cache, I've totally forgotten about it so I have nothing to trade. Besides the themes have gotten a bit out of hand: 'Things you would find on your kitchen sink that begin with the letter L, except if its green... ' or whatever.

But due to popular demand, I've made this one a theme cache. The theme is Beer related items. Only beer related items will be accepted. Any non-beer related items will be cheerfully confiscated and hocked to buy more sixpacks. The cache starts out with the following beer related items:

  • A Nerf Football, because I like to drink beer during the game.
  • A pair of sunglass, so you can hide from that nut case you picked up at the bar last night.
  • A keychain, with a drinking joke on it.
  • A cell phone, so you can call your wife and tell her your really working late at the office.
  • A Svengali magic card deck, because you would need his powers to convince your wife of that last whopper.
  • A coffee mug. Not beer related? Then answer me this. Why does Denny's do such great business at 2 o'clock in the morning?

Cach-u-nuts are always welcome, since nuts go so good with beer. Also Travel bugs and signiture items are OK as long as they are beer related. You should also read the first page of the logbook for more information.

There is a short but steep hike to this cache. And you are close to some sheer drops in some areas, so be carefull. Start out on the trail to the west of the cache. If you are unsure of your approach or it seems too dangerous decrypt the first part of the hint. Caches in this series so far:
