Located just off Interstate 35 north of the IA-MO state line. This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs. The cache is located on a paved bike trail. It is stroller friendly, level terrain. I have pushed my grandson the full lenghth of this trail section many times. It should be easy to find with no bush bashing required. However I did see some poison ivy while placing the cache. You may park at either the east or west end of the trail. Do not block the trail as the local patrol will be alerted and will drive out to find you with lights flashing. I prefer parking on the east end, its little farther to the cache, about 3/4 mile, with some small hills but is more scenic. From the west it is under 1/2 mile and very flat but you must park on the road side. East parking N 40 37.202 W093 53.974, West parking 40 37.037 W 093 55.200.I received permission to place caches from the Lamoni Park and Trail committee who are very concerned about trash left on the trail, so please CITO.
NOTE: A letterbox has been placed very near this cache site. This cache is not a letterbox. I have replaced the cache with a smaller container. It is close to the original location.
