A replacement for the old Pony Pasture River View, this cache is in the same general area, but about .4 of a mile away. It seems the old location became popular with folks enjoying golden beverages in the wild and the old cache was subsequently compromised.
This container is well hidden by design...to place a traditional sized container in this park with the level of traffic it must be hidden well to avoid being compromised.
Please do a good job of re-covering this cache since this park gets extensive use during most of the year. On the weekends from May through September, this park will be packed with swimmers, kayakers, fisherman, mtn bikers, joggers and folks out for a stroll, so be aware. The area in which this cache is hidden will have a tendency to be quite moist and a bit swampy...nonetheless quite beautiful so please ensure container integrity!A good idea for a new item in the cache might be bug spray since there is so much water around.
